Several listmembers sent me useful information and advise. I promised to keep you informed. There is good as well as bad news: thanks to the Boston list I was able to trace our lost relatives, but ... I have come tot the conclusion that they are not interested at all in any contact. I very much appreciate your system of mutual help. If anyone has dutch ancestors, or has family documents in dutch and is unable to read them, I'ld be happy to offer some help.
