    3. I just opened the GenWeb - AHGP web site for Boston, Charlestown and Dorchester. MA at: http://bos-gw.rays-place.com This still needs some fine tuning, but is online. Ray, The Civil War Round Table of Greater Boston http://www.cwrtgb.com/ has organized the restoration of a Civil War Monument in Dorchester Sept. 26, 2004 http://www.dorchesteratheneum.org/page.php?id=98 They have been unable to contact many descendants of the soldiers named on the monument. It would be nice if we could find some more of these folks so they have the opportunity to participate in the ceremony in September. Most of the men named on the plaque are from Dorchester, Milton, Maine, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island roots. Descendants or collateral relations of the men named on the plaque are encouraged to contact Fred Wexler at wexfm@earthlink.net of the Civil War Round table! Additional information on these families will be available at the Boston States Migrations Fair this weekend http://bostonstates.rootsweb.com/ Several files of information are available: 1)The men on the plaque 2)Summary of info about their families 3)notes and excerpts from various sources 4)1860 US census family compostions for those found so far Since the files are quite lengthy, I am only attaching the summary information here, but the New Web site for Boston, Charlestown and Dorchester might be a good place to post more extensive info for this event.
