In the data we have census, newspaper articles, letters, confirmation records, the only names were Boston, Salem, Malden, and Holyoke. Since we are not familiar with the greater Boston area, would they be in the same county. If so, where could one obtain records? Mary Ellen Chambers Lakewood, OH
They wouldn't be byt that wouldn't matter. BMDs are kept by the city/town clerk. Some are also kept at the state archives at Columbia Point. They will be a certified transcription. For a copy of the origional certificate (if they still exist) you must go to the clerks.
