    2. Surnames found in my deceased relatives family notebooks written 1890-1915. Addresses were primarily greater Boston, MA area (Boston, Jamaica Plain, Newton, Chelsea, Charlestown, Brookline) with some in Pawtucket, RI and others in NYC (McCOULLOUGH) MARTIN, McMAHON, LYON, LARKIN, MURRAY, McELHENNEY, LUDBY(?), WALAND (or WAYLAND), JOHNSTON, SHERIDAN, O'HAIR, McCOULLOUGHT (or McCULLOUGH), REDLEY, BRENNAN (or BREMAN), TURNER, McCLEY?, LAFFERTY, BOYLE, McCULPHER, McGANN, ROBINSON, PUTNAM, FLANERY, GARLAND (aka GARMENT), GARGAN, GARGIN, GANAGHAN, McDERMOTT, MURPHY, McKENNA. Our MARTIN-McMAHON Irish Catholic family came to Boston from county Monaghan, Ireland, ca 1823-1824. The elder of the family died 1837, one son preceded him in 1835, two following in 1840 and others later. Cemeteries mentioned: Holy hood cemetery Brookline, MA                         Bunker Hill cemetery (now St. Francis de Sales Cemetery).                               Holy Cross cem in East Malden also a burial in Vallejo, California (near SanFrancisco) ... Edward MARTIN .. a son who went out there. Possible descendants returned to MA.
