Samuel Bacon FROST was conscripted "right off the streets of Boston" in 1864, so the family story goes but his whereabouts for the next 10 years are a mystery, until he turns up in Texas in 1874. I'd appreciate any information on the FROST family. Can anyone tell me if there's a conscription register similar to the enlistment register and, if so, where could I find it?
