I'm trying to locate where in Boston, my grandparents lived in or about 1930. I've not had much experience searching city directories, so I'm not sure whats atually available. Felix Bertrand + Effie D'entremont were married in the late 20's early 30's, with 2 living children, by 1932. on my grandmothers birth record, and on their marriage record, it just lists residence as Boston. No street name or anything. I know they moved to revere, ma, by the 1940s/50s. My other grandparents, Ernest Arthur Edwards + Christina Mae McKinlay, came from Nova Scotia, in the late 1910s I believe. My grandfather and most of his siblings were born in boston ,and all records only give Boston as residence, also no street names. If I wanted ti find where these to familes were living in the late 1920/early 1930s, how would I go about finding that out? Are there any Boston directories for that era? If so , where can I research them? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
