karin, you might want to look into the chelsea naval hospital which was located what is now called admirals hill in chelsea. it was closed down in 1974 by pres nixon as well as the charlestown naval yard. all those records were sent to brighton marine hospital in brighton mass.. this naval hospital was different than the sailors and soldiers home lisa o
