    1. [BOSTON] Any suggestions for leads from a Boston telegram from 1954?
    2. Amber de Jong
    3. Good evening everyone, I have a telegram from my g-grandfather's sister, Beatrice LIMERICK (maiden name DESROSIERS) sent from Boston on 12 Sept. 1954, 12:56 am, to Jaffray, British Columbia, Canada (received 8:10am local time). The entire message reads "Sorry unable to come deep sympathy" and is signed "Beatrice Limerick". We know this is in reference to her father's death, in the Jaffray area, and we're trying to track Beatrice down. Does anyone have any suggestions I could try, without knowing her husband's name or either spouse's possible professions, their date or place of marriage, or her date or place of death? I hate to admit it, but this lady's got me stumped. Thanks, Amber de Jong, Alberta, Canada

    3. I found these on the 1930 Census Index. I also looked up Beatrice with her married name and found no matches. Do you know the names of her parents or siblings and I can try to look each one of these up and see if any sound familiar Mary J 1930 United States Federal Census Viewing records 1-7 of 7 Matches Desrosiers, Beatrice View Image Online Age: 11 Year: 1930 Birthplace: Roll: T626_887 Race: Page: 6A State: Massachusetts ED: 4 County: Bristol Image: 0205 Township: Fall River Relationship: Daughter ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- Desrosiers, Beatrice View Image Online Age: 10 Year: 1930 Birthplace: Massachusetts Roll: T626_889 Race: White Page: 5B State: Massachusetts ED: 61 County: Bristol Image: 0070 Township: Fall River Relationship: Inmate ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- Desrosiers, Beatrice View Image Online Age: 27 Year: 1930 Birthplace: Roll: T626_894 Race: Page: 1A State: Massachusetts ED: 2 County: Essex Image: 0721 Township: Amesbury Relationship: Wife ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- Desrosiers, Beatrice M View Image Online Age: 15 Year: 1930 Birthplace: Roll: T626_904 Race: Page: 16B State: Massachusetts ED: 33 County: Franklin Image: 0952 Township: Orange Relationship: Daughter ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- Desrosiers, Beatrice View Image Online Age: 36 Year: 1930 Birthplace: Roll: T626_968 Race: Page: 4A State: Massachusetts ED: 41 County: Worcester Image: 0762 Township: Worcester Relationship: Sister ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- Desrosiers, Beatrice View Image Online Age: 36 Year: 1930 Birthplace: Roll: T626_969 Race: Page: 3A State: Massachusetts ED: 61 County: Worcester Image: 0394 Township: Worcester Relationship: Wife ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- Desrosiers, Beatrice T View Image Online Age: 14 Year: 1930 Birthplace: Roll: T626_969 Race: Page: 2B State: Massachusetts ED: 62 County: Worcester Image: 0465 Township: Worcester Relationship: Daughter ----- Original Message ----- From: "Amber de Jong" <ajdejong@telusplanet.net> To: <BOSTON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, February 25, 2003 12:52 AM Subject: [BOSTON] Any suggestions for leads from a Boston telegram from 1954? > Good evening everyone, > > I have a telegram from my g-grandfather's sister, Beatrice LIMERICK (maiden name DESROSIERS) sent from Boston on 12 Sept. 1954, 12:56 am, to Jaffray, British Columbia, Canada (received 8:10am local time).
