    3. It may have been a home wedding - I just finished recording one for my great-Grandmother for 125 Heath St which was the residence. The invitation was handwritten by her older brother The father had died Nov 1874 - and they had two others deaths in 1874 - wedding October 1875 - I think this was done out of respect .. the older sister and brother in law had lost a daughter age 2 and his Father ..traveled back from WI for all three in the 11 months prior to the wedding .. Hope this helps .. Mimi Taylor

    3. I believe the church is the former Immaculate Conception which is now called the Jesuit Urban Center. St. James is also on Harrison but it is in Chinatown. 3. If this helps, it is not a Catholic church. The closest one would be St. James, which is at 125 Harrison Ave. I checked through my Catholic directory ... which includes info/addresses about closed churches, and there were none at that address. Another possibility, though is it could have been a justice of the peace location. I've found a number in downtown Boston area, where a Minister is listed ... (sometimes, it's called Minister of the Gospel) ... and they were JP offices.
