In 1908 chelsea was probably on of the top towns for income, a bustling place full of imagrants as usual and growng industry and the like. Then 1909 came and the largest fire in any american city and most expensive happened. It was this event that caused some migrations . Many blamed the immigrant jewish population for the fire.
