Hello! Could I possibly ask the person with the 1881 directory and/or the 1880 Census to look up a family for me? Father's name was James Armstrong and his wife was "Fannie" (Probably Frances). I am having a terrible time finding anything on this family! I do know that James enlisted and fought in the Civil War at the age of 42! I believe they lived in Boston, possibly 3rd ward, but can't find any records of them past 1860. Thanks! -Tamara btw, anyone else researching ARMSTRONG? I have some ARMSTRONG, and a bit of, WATKINS, GLIDDEN and THOMPSON to share. This James and Fannie Armstrong's daughters married BARTON, WATKINS, GLIDDEN and THOMPSON.
