Emma Pansegrau age 22, Arrived USA, May 4, 1909, destination: 115 Salem(str) Boston, Mass., to res. of Mick Muller. She married Fred Miller (Muller?) and the marriage date range could be from 1909 to 1917, although I think about 1914. Any help to find marriage date would be appreciated. Many thanks, Elisabeth
I will do marriage look-ups for Faulkner County, AR in Conway, AR. You need to give me the names and date and I will gladly go to the courthouse and look for them in the books. I will give everyone one week to get me the information. I just want to help someone the way others have helped me. I was just talking to my mother's cousin (90 years young) and she asked me if I had ever talked to the Genest relatives in Vancouver. Since I knew that we had from my great grandmother, Georgianna Couture the following siblings marriages Desilda Couture to Francois MORIN Virginie Couture to Louis GOBEIL Marie Couture to Ls.-Eusele GENEST Georges Couture to Belzemire GUAY M. Philomene Couture to Michel POULIET Camille Couture to M.-Anne LETOURNEAU Since she pronounced the name Genia I am wondering if that is another spelling for Genest. Also she told me that her Dad had driven to Vancouver to visit the Genest family twice in his 70's and that they used to also visit the sister who was in a wheelchair in New York. I am interested to find out more on this side of the family.
I'm searching for death information on: Delia Furlong who was buried in Calvary Cemetery on July 10, 1908 at age 50. A Joseph Furlong and his family were buried later in the same grave. I'm Joseph's ggdtr and suspect that Delia which often is a nickname for Bridget may be his sister or sister-in-law given that he was born in 1857. A ragk looked up in the Mass archives and didn't find a listing for her. All the info the cemetery has is listed above. Any ideas? thanks, judy
There would be two places for Boston vital records before 1910: Massachusetts Archives at Columbia Point 220 Morrissey Boulevard Boston, MA 02125 617-727-2816 http://www.state.ma.us/sec/arc/ The above site will give you much more info but in case you only get eamil and can't browse the internet, I have cliped a portion from their web site below...... Certified copies of birth, death, and marriage records $3 each. Staff can do limited research to locate vital records requested by mail. No more than five certificates may be ordered at a time, and a separate check or money order for $3 should be enclosed for each certificate. Checks for names not found will be returned. Name, date of event, and place of event (or the best information you have) are needed to locate records. Please include your name, telephone number, and mailing address on all requests. Orders for certified copies are filled in the order received. and the other place is: Boston Registry of Vital Statistics Boston City Hall Boston, MA 02201 617-635-4175 I'm not sure what the current cost is, but it used to cost twice as much at the city as it was at the Columbia Point Archives ($6 vs. $3). In the past, the city has always been the faster of the two in responding. Some of the records I obtained from the city had more information than the record for the exact same individual from the Archives at Columbia Point. You can also get info through the Mormon Family History Centers - see http://familysearch.com/ It's always a good idea to mention any names in case someone on this list (SKS = some kind soul) can lookup something they may have ready access to. Sorry to have to post to the entire group, but I have no other choice in this regard. My hard drive "died" over the weekend. It's completely gone, no reasonable way for me to retrieve what's on there. The good news is that almost all of my records, research, and photos were backed up and safe. The so-so news is that I lost about 50% of my "bookmarks" - but I know I'll be able to rebuild that up again with little problem. In my case, it's probably a good thing, as it forced some "house cleaning" in that area. The uh-oh news is that I lost my complete email address book. Fortunately, I have most of the email addresses in a hard copy. So, I've been busy reentering all of them into my computer today. Don't know if I'm doing them correctly, but I'm trying to make sure that I don't do any mistypes on the email addresses. The BAD news is that I lost ALL of my pending emails. So, if I owe you a response to any letters you sent to me, PLEASE write to me PRIVATELY, and let me know. Thank you and I AM sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone. Sincerely, (Mrs.) Ricki Lynn Randall Zunk South Florida, USA rickiz@mindspring.com
Hi, I am looking for information on my Robert Kirkby. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts probably in the late 1790's. I do not know his parent's names but they were from England. I am wondering if Robert's parent's names are William Kirkby and Hannah Church but I am only guessing this from info that I have seen posted and from looking at the names of Robert's children. Dave, I have viewed the census images and haven't had any problems. It's best to download the MrSids to view them though. It's a lot easier viewing them. Watch the spelling that the enumerator used also. My maiden name is Scarpitto, but my ggp's and my gf were listed as Scapo or Scarpo. Good luck! Hi David, I have been a subscriber for a couple years now and find most of their images excellent.(most...not all) They have a download called MrSids that you can use to enlarge each image. You can also click the "full view" tab and then enlarge the image to see the whole thing.Granted there are a few crummy images, but this would be from the film that was copied. The biggest problems I have usually stem from the enumerators handwriting.See if the trial includes MrSids and then try it again. Ancestry.com is offering members a 14 day free trial of their US census images. I looked at the samples they offer on the web site and found them very difficult to read. Has any one on the list found this to be the case? David

I am looking for additional information on the following persons: REMI LANGELIER (deceased) previously married to Emily living at 275 D Boston, MA in Boston Directory 1890. I believe there is some connection to H. J. LANGELIER Co. at 993 Termont in Boston. My gr grandmother was LOUISE LANGELIER (LYNCH) - I believe Remi and Emily are her parents. I have been told this family was French Canadian. Louise may have been born in 1860s in Canadian. Could someone look up this family in earlier Boston Directories? Does anyone have any information on this family? Thanks so much for your attention! --- Sincerely DeAnne --- Researching Surnames: Driscoll, Jones, Langelier, Lynch, Moore, Stevens
