Thanks, all very helpful. I appreciate your taking the time to further enlighten me on the Sitz clan and their wanderings. I did feign a bit of ignorance in order to see what others had to share. I have been to the Old Cemetery and seen the monument but that was ten years ago. Some of the principal Daniels in our family were buried in unmarked graves in Halifax Co., NC.
