Among the documents of the two estate sales of Johannes Bast, (That is how he signed his will of 9/3/1777), there is a listing of what the heirs bought, and William's name is listed among them . Furthermore, William was one of the administaters of the estate sales, and his signature appears on the tally sheet. I have copies of the estate sales and the will. >From: "David W.
