On the Daniel-List we try to keep everyone in the loop when someone post a bit of information or seeks some answers from the group. I seldom see any data that I would not be willing to share, but see no problem with communicating privately after establishing a contact. George my line is Martin Luther Bost, of Bost Mill, NC, what's yours? Payne Daniel - Bost/Crowell/Miller/Daniel ----- Original Message ----- From: "George W. Hello Payne, My line goes like this: 1.Nicholas BAST, Sr., m.Maria ? 2.Jerg BAST m.Anna Maria ? 3.Johann Wilhelm BAST m.Sussanah Catharina 4.William BAST m.Catherine GOODHARDT 5.Catherine BOST m.Conrad BOST and 4.Johannes BAST, Sr., m.Catreena SHUFORD 5.Conrad BOST m.Catherine BOST (Catherine and Conrad were 1st Cousins.) 6.Silas BOST m.Jane ? 7.Frances Mahala m.John P. WILKINSON 8.William Wallace WILKINSON, Sr., m.Elizabeth "Betty" MOHLER 9.Lenora WILKINSON m.Herman Lovette BROYLES 10.Mary Frances BROYLES m.Norman Ray DURMAN 11.Me I have your Martin Luther BOST in my database, but have no wife or children for him. Would love to add your line to my database. ????? It took us years and years to find our Frances Mahala BOST. Family folklore had her as Frances ALEXANDER for some unknown reason. You know how those "myths and legends" persist. I'll have to tell her "supposed" story to the List some day. The family story isn't anything close to what we discovered. Had to do with Frances abandoning a first family and living with John P. WILKINSON as a "housekeeper" until they were married (according to the Census Reports). Anyway, we did find her and become part of the BOST family of NC. Keep in touch.
