She married Michael Cline,jr. They were the parents of Wallas Alexander Cline who was my great grandfather. Salome and Michael are burried in "old St.Paul's Lutheran Church cemetery" in Catawba, N.C. Wallas was trained in architecture, ,jointry and building by his uncle Jonas Bost, and when he was a young man He moved to Newberry, SC and became the town,s foremost builder. He built the first buildings of NEWBERRY College. He also built the NEWBERRY Opera House. .. He married Frances Hercelia Houseal and they had six children: Benedict Houseal, Mary Elizabeth (Mamie), Alice Lenora, Catherine Frances (who married Jacob Earhardt of Earhardt,SC), Margaret Lula (married a Wicker -no children), and Carrie Wallace, my grandmother, who married the Reverend Monroe Jacob Epting. They had five children: Lucille, Elizabeth Frances, Monroe Jacob,Jr,MD., Wallace Houseal, esq., and Eugene Ludington Epting,Sr.,my father. ! Wallas jCline b.3/13/1820 d.4/7/1887. Son of Michael and Salome Bost Cline.
