Honestly, I have not read the book as I picked it up from the books they were selling off at the library because it was about prairie life. When I realized it was all letters, I figured it would mean more to a family member. I just glanced at it and Theodore was the first of his family to come to America. He arrived in NY on 4-20-1851 and was in NY for a while teaching french, stayed in VT, then went back to NY and finally moved on to MN in 1855. I looked in the index for the names you mentioned and the states and none are included. They may be referred to briefly in some of the letters, but that will be hard for me to find without reading all of them. If you know of a specific tie into Theodore (or a sibling, etc.) I could dig a little more. Let me know, jane Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
