I found some paper work that I have. I have a paper from the Arkansas Death Index, 1914-1950 Record. Name: Samuel M. Bost, Death Day: 8, Death Month: Sep., Death Year: 1927, County: Cross. It also has a Roll number listed. I thought I had found a listing in an Arkansas, Cross County, Cemetery where he is buried, but now I cant seem to find it. This side of my family has me stumped. As far as we all know my grandmother Ruby (Bost) Chisem was born in or around Parkin, Cross County, Arkansas, but I can find nothing on her. They had three children: Female infant b. 5 Dec 1849 d.13 Dec 1849; Martha A. b.15 Aug 1852 d. 2 Feb 1853 and Julia Ann b. 1853 d.7 Oct 1855. Mary Caroline and her three babies are buried in St. Martin's Evangelical Church cemetery in Cabarrus County. She was my great great grandfather's only sister. Their parents were Francis Vanderburg and Elizabeth Perry. The only information I have is Asa's date of death 25 December 1890 in Cabarrus County. My 3rd great-grandfather was Samuel Bost, born in 1804 in PA. He moved to OH sometime before 1854, and the rest of my Bost line stayed in Ohio (mostly Napoleon, OH) until today. My mother, Crystal Bost, was born in Napoleon. My research stops at Samuel Bost (b. 1804), who married Esther Jane Ketchum and was father to Samuel, Jacob, Sarah, Frances, Hiram and Sheppard (various spellings abound. Sheppard is my 2nd great-grandfather. If you do have Samuel Bost or any of these others included in your family tree, I would love to see it, and get more information or pictures. Thanks!
