Christian married Clara Peters and one of their children was Alfred...my father's father. The way I understand it, Christian and Clara had three children: Alfred, Karl and Emilie. I guess then that your mother is Emilie? I was under the impression that Emilie stayed in Germany with her parents. Please let me know if this is right or if I'm off base.
