He is my 3g-grandfather. The stone appears to be mis-spelled but it isn't. It's just the German form of the letter s. I did find Barbara's obit in the church records which was rather informative regarding her family line. From what you say it doesn't appear that we are from the same Bossert line. Do you have any additional info on Johanne? I stop with him and only know that he was born in Baden, Germany. I do have quite a bit of info on my Bossert line until present time. Steve
