Looking for info/ leads on a Yerkes/ Jurgs/ Georg Bossert, born about 1797 in PA and married Hannah Miller. Yerkes may be a version of Jurgs or Georg. Also, I am told that many German families gave ALL their sons an "official" first name of "Johann/John" but used the middle name. (John was in honor of St John.) So Yerkes/Jurgs/Georg may have been used instead of John. Please post any info, leads or ideas Thanks David Bossert
