Boschong Subscribers, Here is an interesting thought. Is is possible that the missing Valentine Bushong could be Lt. Edward W. Buchan of the War of 1812? Possibly that W was really a V as handwriting back then was hard to read. Maybe Valentine was disgusted with the way things were going with his life in Ohio, went to Canada, signed up with the Brits, and then after being a prisoner of War came back to Ohio with Joseph Haines who was also a soldier in the War of 1812. Just a thought and would certainly explain a lot. Gloria
