Boschong Subscribers, Another Bushong has volunteered to take the DNA test at the urging of someone else. It was then called to my attention that this person was interested so I called this person to give them the information on how to order a kit. Meanwhile, I have asked a Bushong who has roots going back to Canada to participate but have not heard back from him. Contacting the African American Bushon's is harder then you think. Last year I called several African Americans to tell them about the DNA testing but was never able to get them to return my telephone call. I believe I have mentioned this before. I also contacted several historical societies in the area of Ohio where these Bushon's lived to tell them about the testing hoping that someday one of the Bushon's would be interested in tracing their roots back in time to a white slave owner father.
