    3. My sincere condolences to the family of Howard Dean Bushong. Russell and I spoke with him long ago about attending the Bushong family reunion. A certain tree needs to have corrections. -------------------- The Irvin Funeral Homes Centralia, Illinois August 2013 HOWARD DEAN BUSHONG Howard Dean Bushong, 83, of Centralia, passed away at 5:08 pm on Wednesday, 14 August 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia, Illinois. He was born on 19 October 1929 in Centralia, Illinois, the son of Frank and Lula (Senters) Bushong. Howard married Norma (White) Bushong on 24 January 1955 in Centralia, Illinois, preceded him in death on 15 September 2007. Mr. Bushong is survived by son Mark Bushong of Centralia, Illinois; 2 daughters Doni Heser and husband Don of Centralia, Illinois and Marie Bushong of Centralia, Illinois; brother Ed Bushong and wife Marie of Boise, Idaho; 3 grandchildren Sean Bushong and wife Gracie of California, Casey Hesey Heser and wife Heidi of Troy, Illinois, and Luke Heser and wife Chantel of Chicago, Illinois; 1 great granddaughter; Special Friend Joann Grandy of Centralia, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Harold Gene Bushong. He was a welder and paint foreman for Illinois Central Railroad. He was a lifelong resident of Centralia. He was a member of the American Legion Post #446 & V. F. W. Post #2055. He was also a member of the Centralia Shrine Club and Masonic Lodge Post #201. He was also a member of the 40 & 8 Club. He also served in the Army during the Korean War. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 am on Saturday, 14 August 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia with Rev. mark Doane officiating where interment will follow. Military Honors will be accorded by V. F. W. Post #2055 and American Legion Post #446. Friends may call on Saturday afternoon from 1 to 2 pm at Irvin Funeral Home. Masonic services will be conducted by Centralia Lodge 201 AF & AM. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Shiner's Hospital for Crippled Children, and will be accepted at the Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia, who is in charge of arrangement. ------------------- Researched and Submitted by Gloria Neiger Bushong
