You know, don't you, that this was the account of the birth of my father, Gloria? My paternal (Ebrite) grandfather was the editor of our local newspaper for 40 years, including at the time of this event. He was speaking of himself! I love reading the old issues of the paper when he made personal comments. He usually referred to himself as "Ye Scribe." In time, I've written many, many articles for the paper, including three features for the next two weeks. I know I inherited my love of writing from him -- and from Fay, his daughter-in-law, who was a wonderful writer.
