Steve Pence sent me the following obit that he found today while doing Pence research. Currently in Shenandoah County there is a newspaper called the Free Press and they print news from the olden days. The Free Press Woodstock, Shenandoah County, Virginia THAT'S OLD NEWS 25 December 1931 Mrs. Katie Bushong Shrum, wife of Mr. Tasker Shrum, died Wednesday morning. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Bushong and celebrated her Forty third birthday last September.
