Mareetta sent me a tiny bit of a Probate file for Minor Heirs of David Bushong with P. D. Bigelow as their Guardian. The Probate was instituted in 1861. This proves that the reported death date for David Bushong being 5 June 1872 is incorrect. That had to be another David Bushong. The David Bushong who married Elizabeth Wolf was dead by 1861 and this definitely answers all my questions I had long ago about why things didn't add up with the research presented in the Bushong Bulletin for this family. Still does not answer the question of who is the David Bushong with death date of 5 June 1872.
