    3. Boschong Subscribers, I have decided to go ahead and re-post the Land Grant and Deed so that you know exactly what I am referring to instead of trying to search the Archives. Read the description of the Land Grant and the Deed. They are exactly the same. ------------------- Bureau of Land Management- GLO records Certificate #15044 Issued 18 April 1837 THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, To all to Whom these presents shall come, Greeting: WHEREAS Jacob Bushong of Hancock County, Ohio has deposited in the General Land Office of the United States a certificate of the Register of the Land Office at Bucyrus whereby it appears that full payment has been made by the said Jacob Bushong, according to the provisions of the Act of Congress of the 24 April 1820, entitled "An act making further provision for the sale of the Public Lands" the North West quarter of the North West quarter of Section Thirty two, in Township Two South of Range Eleven in the District of lands subject to Sale at Bucyrus, Ohio containing forty acres. according to the official plat of the survey of the said Lands, returned to the General Land Office by the Surveyor General , which said tract has been purchased by the said Jacob Bushong. NOW KNOW YE, That the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, in consideration of the premise and in conformity with the several acts of Congress in such case made and provided , have given and granted and by these presents do give and grant unto the said Jacob Bushong, and to his heirs, the said tract above described. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, together with all the rights, privileges, immunities and appurtenances of whatsoever nature, thereunto belonging unto the said Jacob Bushong, and to his heirs and assigns forever. IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Martin Van Buren PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, have caused these Letters to be made Patent, and the Seal of the General land Office to be hereunto affixed. Given under my hand at the City of Washington, the eighteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven and of the Independence of the United States the sixty first.. Bushong do hereby devise release and forever Quit Claim unto the said Barbara C. Bushong her Heirs and assigns forever all our title Interest and Estate legal and equitable in the following premises with the appurtenances situate in Hancock County and state of Ohio and bounded and described as follows: The North West quarter of the North West quarter of Section Number thirty two (32) in Township Number Two (2) South of Range Eleven East CONTAINING forty acres of land more or less. Williams a Justice of the Peace in and for said County personally appeared the above named Simon Bushong and Mary Jane Bushong his wife and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the above Quit Claim Deed to be their Voluntary act and deed and the said Mary Jane Bushong being at the same time examined by me separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of said instrument made known to her by me , she then declared that she did voluntarily sign, seal and acknowledged the same and that she is still satisfied therewith this 29th day of October A.D. 1860.
