    1. [BOSCHONG] Where to put the photos of the Bushong Reunions, old Tombstones & old Ancestors?
    2. Russell Bushong
    3. Boschong Subscribers, As you all know, my photos on Webshots, that were linked to the Bushong Reunion website, www.bushongreunion, are no longer available because Webshots sold their site and took the photos down. It was very disappointing since those albums were very popular among the family members. I am contemplating two things. Putting them up on Flickr or creating a group Facebook page which would be made Private and you would have to request being a Friend to be accepted. Each has it advantages and disadvantages. For me it would be easier to do Facebook since then everyone could post their photos, view them and also share them with other family members. Flickr is very popular but not as accessible and after my experience with Webshots and what they did, the same could happen with Flickr. So give me your thoughts. You can do it publicly or privately. Thanks, Gloria

    3. Hi Gloria! Thanks for all of your hard work for the family. I also think a family FaceBook page would be fun and a good place for photos.Hugs,Becky (Bushong) > To: boschong@rootsweb.com > From: chochoruss@aol.com > Date: Fri, 14 Jun 2013 10:11:27 -0400 > Subject: [BOSCHONG] Where to put the photos of the Bushong Reunions, old Tombstones & old Ancestors? > > Boschong Subscribers, As you all know, my photos on Webshots, that were linked to the Bushong Reunion website, www.bushongreunion, are no longer available because Webshots sold their site and took the photos down. 3. I vote for Facebook for its accessibility and ease of posting photos. We could all enjoy it, provided you "friend" us!! I especially would value it as I know the least of any of you.' 3. forgot to add that for a couple of organizations in which I am a "leader" we tried Flickr and it did not work well for us, but Facebook did. Guess we all have to sacrifice ourselves before NSA and Emperor Alexander's altar of complete transparency in our "conversations" and sharing over the internet, so Facebook is the easiest for the rest of us to use. 3. Okay it looks like between the response on the List and my responses on my Facebook page, it looks like we are going to have a new Bushong Facebook page to share all the photos we have been wondering what to do with. I'll do it sometime this weekend and let you know. Thanks for your support. Oh and if anyone is interested I got zero response after the appeal to contact me demanding a public DNA project except from Fraya and Rick so we will not make that a general public site. Not one single one of the actual participants who took the DNA test want it public either although two of the relatives of those participants thought it was okay. 3. It's pretty simple to do. Go to facebook.com and just sign up. Just follow the very simple directions. Just remember to make your page secure and don't give your telephone number or full birth day. Just the day and month. No year. Once you have your page then find the Bushong Reunion page and send a request. Then I will Friend you. :) Gloria -----Original Message----- From: Maxine Driscoll <max@sanbrunocable.com> To: boschong <boschong@rootsweb.com> Sent: Fri, Jun 14, 2013 10:53 pm Subject: Re: [BOSCHONG] Where to put the photos of the Bushong Reunions, old Tombstones & old Ancestors? 3. Is anyone having trouble becoming a member of the Bushong Reunion group? One thing you must do if you are not already a member of Facebook, create a shell account with them so that I can Friend you. I have looked for some of you but cannot find you!
