    3. Boschong Subscribers, I received the following from Janet Taber: Gloria, I thought I had sent this to you previously but perhaps I did not. If you cannot read the attachment, let me know and I'll send you the transcription. It appeared in the March 27, 1890 edition of the Ozark County News. There is no listing of survivors, but I think we have compiled that list to the satisfaction of most of the family. ---------------- Janet, You might have sent it to me at some point, and I might have saved it to use for a post about the family, and then lost it. Thank you so much for re-sending it to me! Here it is for the whole list to see. --------------- The Ozark County News Gainesville, Missouri Thursday, 27 March 1890 Jacob H. Bushong was born in Monroe county, Kentucky, 14th December 1824, and lived in that county until the year 1870, when he moved to Missouri and after that time he was a citizen of Ozark county, until the 16th of March 1890, he was suddenly called from this life to that reward which is vouchesied to all who by "patient continuing in well doing seek for glory, honor and immortality." The deceased was a faithful Christian. He was baptised in his 18th years by Newton Mulky in his native county, and ever after lived consistently with the profession he had made. He was a good citizen of our county. He was kind to the poor and always ready to aid those in need; a good neighbor, a loving husband and father in his family. He was laid at rest on the 18th; funeral services were conducted by Elder Paul Patrick. Mr. Bushong leaves not only his family and relatives to mourn his departure, but all who knew him sympathize with the bereaved ones. -------------- Sent to me by Janet Taber and Submitted by Gloria Neiger Bushong

    2.   I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU TO  "JANET TABER" WITH HER RESEARCH AND "GLORIA" FOR POSTING THIS OBIT.  THE OBIT WAS SHORT AN TO THE POINT OF WHAT KIND OF A MAN HE WAS.  IT MADE ME FEEL PROUD TO SAY HE WAS MY 6TH GEN. GRANDFATHER.     NOEL EUGENE BUSHONG From: Russell Bushong <chochoruss@aol.com> To: boschong@rootsweb.com Sent: Wednesday, June 5, 2013 2:36 PM Subject: [BOSCHONG] Full 1890 obit for Jacob Hamilton "Hamp" Bushong of Ozark County, Missouri Boschong Subscribers, I received the following from Janet Taber: Gloria, I thought I had sent this to you previously but perhaps I did not.
