PART 1 OF 2 ------------------ Boschong Subscribers, I received the Deeds from Roosevelt County, New Mexico today and I will begin transcribing them to the List. Hiram K. Bushong received a Land Grant for 160 acres in Roosevelt County in June 1912. He sold it in December 1914 to George B. Smith. He only owned this land for 1 year and 6 months. So from the 1914 Deed in Part 2 of this post, we know that the Bushong place referred to in the newspaper article of August 1912 that I posted about recently was not the property of Hiram K. Bushong. Check the BOSCHONG Archives for January, February, March, April and May 2013 for further information on Hiram K. Bushong and his family. ---------------- CHRONICLE TIME LINE FOR HIRAM K.
