The Gladwin County Record Gladwin, Michigan Wednesday, 18 June 1980 Page 2, Column 3 LEWIS N. DRULEY (9 JUNE 1883 - 16 JUNE 1980) Lewis N. Druley, 97, of 699 W. Howard Rd., Beaverton, died Monday, 16 June in the Gladwin Area Hospital following a long illness. Born in Geneva, Ohio, on 9 June 1883, he came to Gladwin County in 1905. Mr. Druley was a retired farmer. He was married to the former Nellie M. Bushong on 26 October 1904, in Ohio. She preceded him in death on 4 November 1968. Surviving are one son, George of Flint; 5 daughters, Mrs. Minnie Smith, Mrs. Carrie Shears and Mrs. Gladys Cottrell of Beaverton, Mrs. Frances Winters of West Branch and Mrs. Irene Cocker of Midland; 47 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Fred Wilson will officiate and burial will be in the Arbutus Cemetery. ----------------------- The Gladwin County Record Gladwin, Michigan Wednesday, 6 November 1968 Page 1, Column 6 NELLIE MAY (BUSHONG) DRULEY (9 MAY 1885 - 4 NOV 1968) Mrs. Nellie May Druley, 83, of Buckeye Township, died Monday, 4 November at the Gladwin Hospital following an illness of a year. Mrs. Druley was born in Andora, Ohio,9 May 1885, and married Louis Druley 26 October 1904, in Van Wert County, Ohio. She was the former Nellie Bushong. They came to Gladwin in 1906. Survivors are her husband, Louis N.; three sons, Garner and Clifford, both of Beaverton, and George of Flint; seven daughters, Mrs. Minnie Smith, Mrs. Carrie Shears, and Mrs. Gladys Cottrell, all of Beaverton; Mrs. Viola Sines of Gladwin, Mrs. Frances Winters of West Branch, Mrs Irene Crocker of Midland, and Mrs. Opal McCrandell of Flint; a brother Charles of Longbeach, Florida; 45 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. John Cermak officiating.
