PART 2 of 3 Continuation ------------------ ALSO said survey No. 3578 entered, surveyed and patented in the name of the said Charles Scott for Two Hundred and thirty three acres and one third of an acre and found on re-survey made by the County Surveyor of Ross County to contain One Hundred acres only and bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at two sugar trees on the banks of the Scioto River Upper Corner to Scott's said survey; North 30 West, thence South 67 West 41 poles to a hickory also a corner to Scott's said survey, thence North 60 West 78 poles to a sugar tree, thence North 40 West 58 poles to a beech, thence North 16 8/10 poles to a sugar tree, thence North 34 West 62 poles to a sugar tree and ash (sugar tree dead), thence West 34 poles to a chestnut oak, thence North 35 West 35 poles to a sugar tree and red oak, thence West 56 poles to a sugar tree and elm (the elm dead), thence North 32 poles to two sugar trees (one down), thence North 56 East 74 poles to a white oak and water beech on the bank of the river, thence down the same South 32 1/2 East 60 poles, thence South 44 East 92 poles, thence South 49 1/2 East 38 poles to the BEGINNING CONTAINING Together Four Hundred and fifty two acres situated lying and being on the Scioto River and Patton's Run in the County of Ross and State of Ohio aforesaid TOGETHER with all improvements, water courses, profits, and appurtenances, whatsoever to the said premises belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions, remainders and profits thereof, and all the Estate right, title, interest, properly claim and demand of them the said Duncan McArthur and Nancy his wife, of in and to the same TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the land hereby conveyed with all and singular the premises and every part and parcel thereof with every of the appurtenances unto the said John Beshong his heirs and assigns forever and the said Duncan McArthur and Nancy his wife for themselves their heirs Executors and Administrators, do Covenant promise and agree to and with the said John his heirs and assigns by these presents that the premises before mentioned now are forever hereafter shall remain free of and from all forever and other gifts grants bargains sales dower rights and title of dower Judgements Executions title troubles charges and incumbrances whatsoever now or done or suffered to be done by them the said Duncan and Nancy AND the said Duncan and Nancy {McArthur} and their heirs all and singular do forever warrant and defend for themselves their heirs and all and every person or persons claiming of or unto them the premises hereby bargained and sold unto the said John Beshong, his heirs and assigns forever.
