Good Evening Boschong Subscribers, At the beginning of the month, I gave a report on the DNA project. I will give another report as soon as the final results of all three of those Bushongs, I mentioned in that report, are available. Remember this is not a public DNA project and the only people who can see the results are those who took part in the testing and actually test Bushong. If you test out to be another surname, you will not see those Bushong members that you do not match. If you are unhappy with my administration of this DNA project, please e-mail me privately and we will discuss it. In that report the 1st of May, I mentioned the Bosang results. Some of you may wonder where in the world did I ever get the idea that the Bosangs were Bushongs. Well, I will tell you. Straight out of the BUSHONG BULLETIN, a publication edited by Carol Willsey Bell, devoted totally and entirely to the Bushong surname. This publication is no longer in existence but I have every single copy. I will be more then happy to make a copy of this particular 1986 Bulletin and snail mail it to you or scan it to you via e-mail if you want to see it. THE BUSHONG BULLETIN Spring 1986 Volume 2 No. 1 Page 9 EDITOR AND SUBMITTER OF THIS BOSANG MATERIAL: Carol Willsey Bell, CG Page 9 of the Bushong Bulletin is devoted to the surname BOSANG and Carol Willsey Bell was the submitter and never once on that page or any other page did she state that she thought that they were NOT Bushongs! Never a word in the entire Bulletin or in future Bulletins. She also never made any statement in any of the Bulletins that she had made a mistake and that the Bosangs were not Bushongs. So, THAT is where I got the idea that the Bosangs were probably Bushongs and I did the research and submitted it to the BUSHONG List. So why an entire page in the Bushong Bulletin with nary a peep about this being a mistake? She never ever e-mailed me to say I was wrong. NEVER. And it wasn't until DNA testing came along and we were able to actually test a Bosang did we know for sure the final answer. Now can we forget the past and move on from here, please?
