Ross County Deed Book 1 Page 441 9 August 1800 William Craig Jr. to John Beshong THIS INDENTURE made this ninth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred BETWEEN William Craig Junior and John Beshong both of the County of Ross and Territory in Western Ohio. WITNESSETH That the said William Craig aforesaid hath bargained sold released and confirmed unto the said John Beshong his heirs and assigns forever one in Lot in the town of Chillicothe Known by the No. One hundred and Sixty for and in consideration of Thirty dollars and Fifty cents to him in hand paid the receipt whereof the said William Craig Junior doth hereby acknowledge TOGETHER with all improvements profits and appurtenances whatsoever to the said premises belonging or in anywise appertaining and the said William Craig Junior for himself his heirs executors administrators and assigns doth covenant premises and agree to and with the said John Beshong his heirs and by these presents that the said William {Craig} will will covenant and defend the above described lott from the lawful claim of all and every person whatsoever.
