Wyandot County Ohio Deed Book 8 Page 628 18 August 1854 Jacob Bushong and Hannah his wife to Deborah Thompson and John Robertson KNOW ALL MEN That Mr. Jacob Bushong and Hannah Bushong wife of said Jacob Bushong of the County of Wyandot and state of Ohio in consideration of the Sum of two Hundred Dollars in hand paid by Deborah Thompson and John Robertson of the same place have bargained and sold and do hereby grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Deborah Thompson and John Robertson their heirs and assigns forever the following premises to wit: Situate in the County of Wyandot in the State of Ohio and in the North East Quarter of the South West quarter of Section No. Four in Township three South of Range Twelve Commencing at the South East corner of said lot of land and running North twenty rods Thence West Eighty rods Thence South twenty rods Thence East Eighty rods to the place of Beginning so as to contain Twenty acres. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD Said premises with the appurtenances unto the said Deborah Thompson and John Robertson their heirs and assigns forever. AND the said John {Jacob} Bushong for himself and his Heirs do hereby covenant with the said Deborah Thompson and John Robertson their heirs and assigns that he is lawfully seized of the premises, that the said premises are free and clear from all encumbrances whatsoever and that he will forever warrant and defend the same with the appurtenances unto the said Deborah Thompson and John Robertson their heirs and assigns against the lawful claim of all persons whomsoever. IN TESTIMONY whereof the said Jacob Bushong and Hannah Bushong have hereunto set their hands and seals this 18th day of August in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred and fifty four. D. 1854 Personally appeared before me Joseph McClung, Justice of the Peace in and for said County, the above named Jacob and Hannah Bushong and acknowledged that they Voluntarily Executed the above deed for the purpose herein specified, The said Hannah {Bushong} being at the same time being by me Examined Separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of the said Deed being by me made known to her, She did upon such separate examination declare that She did voluntarily Sign Seal and acknowledge the same and that she is still satisfied therewith.
