Bushong, 58, Fort Wayne and a former Kendallville resident, died Friday in Parkview Hospital. She was born in Kendallville and had lived in Fort Wayne for 30 years. Surviving are her husband, F. Lee Bushong; a daughter, Cherry Zemen; and a son, George, both Fort Wayne; a brother, John Ellis, Newbury Park, Cal., and three grandchildren. Services will be Monday in D. O. Bushong, 87, passed away on Wednesday, 1 May 2013, at Sterling House, Bowling Green, Ohio. Born in Decatur, Mabel was a secretary for the Local 305 U.A.W. for 32 years, retiring in 1985. Mabel enjoyed sewing and her music. "She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren." Surviving are her husband, Francis Lee Bushong of Decatur; children, Jackie (Glenn) Barlett of Findlay, Ohio and Vicki (Brian) Miller Culp; grandchildren, Brianne, Brittney and Lindsey; brothers, Ted Reinhart of Decatur and Max Reinhart of Fort Wayne; and sister, Alice Bittner of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Lisetta Reinhart; first husband, Edward Miller; and five brothers and sisters. Private family service. Arrangements by D.O.
