He was born 20 November 1907 in Putnam County {Ohio} to James and Julia (Marks) Bushong. Surviving in addition to his wife, Gloria, are three sisters, Loma Woodward, Fowlerville, Michigan, Ruth Harris, Columbus Grove, Della Clark, Bluffton; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Judy) Chrismer, Stryker {Ohio}; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Bushong. Mr. Bushong served in the United States Navy during World War II. While living in Columbus Grove, he was a mailman and owned and operated Bushong Memorials. In Naples, Mr. Bushong worked as an auditor at the Beach Club Hotel until his retirement. ------------------- I added this census record because I believe that possibly this Alfred Bushon has something to do with this family or maybe not.
