I remember spending a lot of time on him and filling in a lot of blanks for Phyllis. I suppose some people who don't know how to research might mix them up. LOL Check the BOSCHONG Archives for April 2006 and August 2010 for the information on John Wesley Bushong, s/o Joseph Long Bushong and Lydia Zaring. William C. Miller after the death of her husband. They had one son named Robert Miller. Mary died in March 1945. John Wesley Bushong, along with his father Joseph Long Bushong and other family members, are buried in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas. One thing that suddenly hit me when I was looking over this old research from 2006. John Wesley Bushong's land was foreclosed on in Nebraska about the same time that cousin Benjamin Franklin "Frank" John Bushong's land (Battlefield family) was being foreclosed on in Nebraska because of a terrible drought that hit the land in the 1890's. John died but Frank went back to New Market, Virginia where he lived the rest of his life until he died in 1927. -------------------- JOHN WESLEY BUSHONG Born: February 1844, son of Jacob Bushong and Elizabeth Bohart Died: 20 November 1922, Alabama Married: Hannah Adele Dorsey They had two children but none lived past infancy. ---------------------- Researched and Submitted by Gloria Bushong ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
