Gloria ---------------------- Gloria, when my husband and I visited Kentucky in 2009 we met and spoke with Will “Bandy” Bushong’s son Andy. Andy’s given name is John William though he goes by Andy. The comment made by Gramagator about Will’s nickname not making sense, tends to be true in this family. How can you have the nickname of Andy and your name is John? By the way Will Bandy’s son Andy Bushong is now the pharmacist in Tompkinsville, and is the last male descendant living on the land owned by the Bushong family. ----------------- Subscribers, I am thinking that there was not a mistake on his nickname being Bandy. Possibly one of the small children in the family couldn't pronounce Randy so it became "Bandy." I know for a fact that there are some very strange nicknames in the Bushong family. Gloria B.
