Boschong Subscribers, I am thinking that Andrew Bushon who lived in Hancock County, Ohio was the son of John Bushong and Eleanor Rush. I believe that possibly Andrew was raised by other relatives in Columbiana County because of the death of his mother Eleanor Rush when he was young. MY THINKING: John Bushong married Eleanor Rush in 1816 They had 6 children. Julia Bushong who married Samuel VanVoorhis is the only one that has been identified, isn't that correct? According to census records they had a child born around 1819 which could have been Andrew. John's grandfather was Andrew Bushong of VA & KY thus the naming of the son Andrew. Andrew Bushon was born in 1819 and married three times. His mother Eleanor died before 1831 and in the 1830 census there is no mother.
