Boschong Subscribers, While working on a totally different Bushong (I am re-visiting Thomas Jackson Bushong) in Maryland, I ran across the following census record and am wondering if this Henry Bushon/Bushong is somehow related to the mysterious William Bushong found in that 1850 census in Strasburg, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Nearby in Maryland in the 1830 census is a George Houck and family who almost fits in the age range for the George Houk in the 1850 census in Pennsylvania with William Bushong living in household. I continue to seek an obit for this William Bushong but so far I have come up with none after making several telephone calls to Pennsylvania. Possibly he did not stay in Pennsylvania very long and died somewhere else, maybe Maryland? --------------------- 1830 Federal Census: Maryland 3rd District, Baltimore County Page 106 HENRY BUSHON 1 male under 5 years of age 1 male 30 and under 40 years of age 1 female 5 and under 10 years of age 1 female 30 and under 40 years of age Nearby GEORGE HOUCK 2 males 5 and under 10 years of age 1 male 10 and under 15 years of age 1 male 40 and under 50 years of age 1 female 10 and under 15 years of age 1 female 40 and under 50 years of age ------------------------- Researched and Submitted by Gloria Bushong
