Bill and Herb, I know what the obit says but if he is buried in Toms Brook Cemetery, there is no tombstone for him or first wife Sevilla/Cevilla Wendel/Windle in that cemetery. I am wondering why.......Next time I go to New Market, I am going to see if find the exact spot. Meanwhile, I think I'll put a query out on the Shenandoah List. Second wife Sarah Ann (Mort) Bushong is buried in St. Johns Cemetery now called St. Johns United Church of Christ Cemetery near Edinburg. Her tombstone reads: Sarah A. Bushong 11 July 1838 1 April 1910 If there isn't a tombstone for Isaac and his first wife, if we could find where they are buried, and I suspect that they are buried together, possibly the descendants could start a fund to have a tombstone erected.
