The Lancaster Examiner and Herald 26 September 1855 Page 3, Column 1 HOMEVILLE - Lyceum Convention Pursuant to previous arrangement, a Convention was held in Samuel Brinton's Woods, near Christiana, on the 15th inst., in which the following Lyceums were represented, viz: Earl Union, Enterprise, Harmony, Hope (Juvenile), and Christiana from Lancaster County, and Homeville and Cedar Grove from Chester County. An original song, sung by Sallie E. Bolton, Anna Pennington, Mary, Sarah and Anna Bushong. An Essay on Liberty by J. C. Brosius. Recitation, "Old Opinions." by Joseph H. Brosius. An essay by Sallie E. Bolton.
