    1. Re: [BOSCHONG] A ship named Bushong
    2. Now that's interesting! Wow! In a message dated 2/16/2011 10:30:58 A.M. Pacific Standard Time, [email protected] writes: Boschong Subscribers, We found this very interesting article about a ship named BUSHONG. How many of you knew we had a ship named after the last name? This event would have been less then a year from the ending of World War I in November 1818. Wonder what happened to this ship? The Evening Public Ledger Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Thursday, 28 August 1919 Page 14, Column 7 & 8 WILL SEND SHIPS TO GERMANY A report that there will be no sailings from this to German ports in the immediate future was denied today by W. B. Megee of the firm of Megee, Steer and Company, shipping agent of this city. Mr. Megee said the interest he represents plan to send a ship from here to Germany ports every ten day. The BUSHONG, expected here next Wednesday or Thursday, is the next vessel to make the trip, he said. -------------------------- Researched and Submitted by Gloria Bushong ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
