Boschong Subscribers, Earlier this month we posted about some of the Sullivan County, Tennessee Bushongs. Here is one that remains a mystery. Adria Catharine Bushong was the daughter of Joseph William Bushong and Grace Rogers Cummings of Sullivan County, Tennessee. We are at a loss as to why these two orphaned children are placed as boarders with these people unless they are somehow related. It doesn't seem to indicate that in the census record though. This was the depression era though so that may explain it. What happened to these children?
