Boschong Subscribers, I just received the following e-mail after asking the clerk at Hancock County, Ohio to do a search to see if there was any woman who died at the end of 1886 and here was the e-mail from the clerk, Laura. Needless to say, this is turning into a real mystery for sure! Now, I am going to go back to the library in Wood County and have them check the date on the obit for Mrs. Jacob Bushong to see if possibly CWB made a typo error when she put it in the Bulletin. Gloria --------------- Hi Gloria: I'm sorry, but I was unable to find any death record for a female Bushong on 12/30/1886. I searched through our death record book # 2-A which covers the years of 1880 - 1902. The only entry that came close was an Ione Bushong, a 23 year old married female who died on 3/10/1890. Her place of death was Williamstown, Ohio and she died of consumption. Let me know if I can be of further assistance. Laura Smith Hancock Co. Probate Court
