    1. [BOSCHONG] Early Bushong Immigrants to Pennsylvania - Some new information and revelations
    2. Good Evening Boschong Subscribers, We have decided to list all of the immigrants that we have found so far for the early Bushongs. Spelling on ships registers is awful. Remember that there were already two Bushongs, Henry and Jacob, on the tax rolls of Chester County, Pennsylvania for 1718 and 1719. Also as we studied the List of Immigrants for the Ship Britania for 1731 there was a Bushong missed! Clearly on the List of children sixteen years of age and under was the name Hans Boschung which probably explains that extra John Bushong in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with the land. --------------------------- A COLLECTION OF UPWARDS OF THIRTY THOUSAND NAMES OF GERMAN, SWISS, DUTCH, FRENCH AND OTHER IMMIGRANTS IN PENNYSYLVANIA FROM 1727 to 1776, With a Statement of the Names of Ships, Whence They Sailed, and the Date of Their Arrival at Philadelphia, Chronologically Arranged, Together with the Necessary Historical and Other Notes, also, an Appendix Containing Lists of More Than One Thousand German and French Names in New York prior to 1712.Leipzig [Germany] By Israel Daniel Rupp 1965 Genealogical Publishing Company, Inc Baltimore, Maryland Ship Not Listed but evidence found according to the above book: John Buschong Immigrated: 1719 Lancaster County, PA Probably related to Jacob and Henry Bushong already in Chester County, Pennsylvania and paying taxes on land. ---------------------------- SHIP BRITANIA Captain Michael Franklyn 21 September 1731 Rotterdam to Cowes to Philadelphia Adults: Hans Boschung {John Bushong} Barbara Boschung Under Sixteen Years of Age: HANS BOSCHUNG {Not previously listed on anyone's research but clearly on ship registry} Hans Philip Boschung Anna Barbara Boschung Christianna Boschung NOTE: How researchers missed the Hans Boschung UNDER age 16 years is beyond me as he is clearly listed in that category. ---------------------------- SHIP PINK JOHN AND WILLIAM Captain Tymperton 17 October 1732 Rotterdam to Dover to Philadelphia Johan Nicklaus Paschon/Boschung Under Sixteen Years of Age: Andreas Boschung Heinrich Boschung ------------------------------- Possibly could be Bushongs SHIP SAMUEL Captain Hugh Percy 17 August 1733 Rotterdam to Deal to Philadelphia ADULTS: HANS PETER BEISSEL HENRICH BISCHOF PETER DRACHSEL Under Sixteen Years of Age: Hans Peter Beissel Hans Jacob Beissel Philip Draschsel Georg Draschsel Jacob Draschsel Gottfried Draschsel Peter Draschsel Daniel Draschsel NOTE: On the ship with them were Rush, Frey, Alldorffer Wendel, Jost, Miller, Probst ---------------------------------------- Owned land and paid quit-rents prior to 1734 in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania HANOVER TOWNSHIP Heinrich Bisbing - 150 {Pretty sure this is a Bushong} ---------------------------------------- SHIP ROBERT AND OLIVER (Of Dublin) Commander Walter Goodman Rotterdam to Dover to Philadelphia 11 September 1738 LORENTZ BIESANG ---------------------------------------- SHIP MARLBOROUGH Captain Thomas Bell 23 September 1741 Rotterdam to Cowes to Philadelphia John Jacob Personz ---------------------------------------- SHIP PHOENIX Captain John Mason 15 September 1749 Rotterdam to Cowes to Philadelphia Hans Philip Bison ---------------------------------------- SHIP TWO BROTHERS Captain Thomas Arnot 21 September 1751 Rotterdam to Cowes to Philadelphia Johannes Bausum Philippus Bausum ---------------------------------------- SHIP DUKE OF WIRTEMBERG Captain Montpelier 16 October 1751 Rotterdam to Cowes to Philadelphia Hans Martin Bischon ---------------------------------------- SHIP TWO BROTHERS Captain Thomas Arnot 15 September 1752 Rotterdam to Cowes to Philadelphia Diedrich Wilhelm Dischong ---------------------------------------- SHIP HALIFAX Captain Thomas Coatam 22 September 1752 >From Rotterdam to Cowes to Philadelphia JOHAN GEORG BUSSUNG [BUSCHONG} JOHAN GEORG BUESSUNG ---------------------------------------- SHIP RICHARD AND MARY Captain John Moore Rotterdam to Cowes to Philadelphia 17 September 1753 Johannes Peroing NOTE: On this same ship are Lang, Grim, Hess, and Lampater ---------------------------------------- SHIP TWO BROTHERS Captain Thomas Arnot 28 September 1753 Rotterdam to Portsmouth to Philadelphia Debalt Bosseng (He became David Bosang of Staunton, VA) Mattheis Dischong {Bushong} William Dischong {Bushong} ---------------------- Researched and Submitted by Gloria Bushong
