We knew about David Bushong who was born in 1767 and died with a Will in 1827 in Sullivan County, Tennessee but who is THIS David Bushong? ---------------------------- Augusta County Delinquents 1771 - 1772 Transcribed by Barbara Vines Little CG, FVGS Sworn to before me this 19th November 1772 - Samuel McDowell A List of Supernumeraries DAVID BUSHONG NOTE: Since in 1770 Botetourt County, Virginia was formed out of Augusta County, VA., it is possible that the taxes were paid in Botetourt County and recorded there and that's why Augusta County thought they were delinquent. ----------------------------- We know this cannot be David Bushong mentioned who died in 1827 since he was only 5 years old. We don't believe that this could be David Bosang from our January 2005 posts since his name was spelled Bosang in all of the court records. He stayed in Augusta County and died in 1777.
