Bushong Died 9 September 1862 ----------------------------- Elcey was nearing the end of her pregnancy with John H. Bushong (Jr.) when her husband died and a month later gave birth. The son only lived 3 months and died in January. He is buried in this cemetery too. Death date was 11 January 1863. Must have been a really sad time for her. Could be a twin of the baby John H. Someone needs to go to this cemetery and take some flour and rubbing paper with them to see if tombstone can be read. Bushong and Adaline (Brubaker) Bushong had a son named Samuel Bushong born 20 November 1835 and died 17 June 1854.
